Hansi Flick breaks jinx Xavi struggled with for 2 years
Barcelona have beaten Athletic Club 2-1 to record their second win in the new season.
With this win, Hansi Flick has helped Barca break the jinx of not winning their first two league games since the 2020/21 season.
Xavi started the season coaching Barca on two occasions — the 2022/23 season and the 2023/24 season but couldn’t lead the team to consecutive wins at the start of the season.
There is still a long way to go with Barca competing for four trophies this term. Hopefully, Flick and his charges don’t end trophyless like Barca did last season.
