Hansi Flick singles out one player he is ‘proud of’ – Valencia fans gave him standing ovation
Valencia fans gave a standing ovation for Lamine Yamal when he was substituted in the 86th minute during their game against Barca.
Here’s what Hansi Flick had to say about Lamine.
“Lamine is a great player. Everyone loves watching him play football. I think that’s why he’s so successful,” Flick said.
“Lamine Yamal is an amazing player. It was an emotional game for him after what happened this week.

During the week, Lamine’s father was stabbed and hospitalized following an altercation in Catalonia. Thankfully, he escaped without getting seriously hurt.
Lamine didn’t let the unfortunate events wear him down as he played a good game for Barca registering an assist for Lewandowski.
