How Andreas Christensen fared in first game at Euro 2024

Andreas Christensen just finished his first game at Euro 2024. It was a cracking match between Denmark and Slovenia that ended 1-1.

Unlike his role at Barca under Xavi, Christensen started the game at the heart of a three-man defence and played quite a good game.

The Danish defender made 99 touches of the ball and completed all 89 of his attempted passes.

Christensen also won five of his six duels, made 4 clearances, and two interceptions. Offensively, Christensen even had one shot on target and one off.
