How Nike could be the KEY to bringing Nico Williams to Barcelona

Barcelona have been in negotiations with Nico Williams and his agents for several weeks to activate the release clause in the player’s Athletic Club contract.

However, to this time, Deco and Laporta have yet to receive the definitive ‘yes’ that they so desperately crave.

So Barca supporters will no doubt be surprised to hear that Nike, the club’s kit manufacturer, could be the key in the deal to bring Nico Williams to Barcelona.

Nike are the sponsor of both the player and the club and they believe that a potential collaboration would be very beneficial. If the 22-year-old were to sign a contract at the Camp Nou, his earnings from the American company would be significantly increased.
