Ilkay Gundogan reportedly asks to leave Barcelona
Ilkay Gundogan has asked Barcelona to sell him before the transfer window closes on September 1, Diario Sport report.
This comes after reported tension between Gundogan and the club leading up to his omission from Barca’s squad for the game against Valencia later on Saturday evening.
Gundogan is said to have suffered a slight injury but some reports say it isn’t serious enough to keep him out of the game.
Gundogan is attracting interest from Turkish clubs and Saudi Arabia. Barca values him around €20m.
