Law & Order stars Mariska Hargitay and Christopher Meloni reunite
Law & Order stars Mariska Hargitay and Christopher Meloni have enjoyed a sweet reunion.
The stars, who play fan favourites Olivia Benson and Elliot Stabler on Special Victims Unit, haven’t been on screen together for a little while, with the latter character recently headlining his own show Organized Crime.
However, the two actors have made time for a sweet reunion, Mariska sharing a picture of herself and Meloni during a celebration of Law & Order editor Arthur Forney.

“About last night…,” the Benson actor wrote on her Instagram post.
Meloni also shared the picture on his profile alongside a few others from the celebrations, calling it a “great event with great people”.
Special Victims Unit was recently renewed for further seasons, which will air next year, while Organized Crime has been given the greenlight for a fifth season as it moves from NBC to Peacock.
Meanwhile, Hargitay recently opened up about Benson making history as the longest-running character on a US primetime series.

“We’ve been on a parallel journey. There’s a thing: WWOBD, ‘What would Olivia Benson do?’ The fans would always talk about it, and one day it hit me,” she told People.
“I also have those moments where I’ve sort of slipped into her. If there’s a crisis, I just take over and lead like that. Being strong and fearless. It’s sort of this perfect feminist story.”
The star further added that she “can’t believe it’s been 25 years, a quarter of a century” and “can’t imagine the show ending, and can’t imagine not going on this journey with my cast, my crew”.
