RB Leipzig reject Barca second offer for Olmo (reliability: 4 stars)

‘RB Leipzig are still not willing to accept the new offer from FC Barcelona for Dani Olmo,” Sky Sport’s Florian Plettenberg reports. Diario Sports adds that Leipzig will not accept Barca’s second offer.

Leipzig are insisting on €60m with easy-to-achieve add-ons before they can allow the player to go.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Barca already offered a €60m package for Olmo, but a major part of their offer will be paid in instrumental payments and difficult-to-achieve add-ons.

It all makes the transfer of Olmo ever so complicated. It seems like Barca may fumble the deal if they can’t reach a compromise with the German club.

Meanwhile, Olmo has already told Barca that he is willing to play for them. Romano said player and club have agreed on personal terms.
