Simone Biles has flashed a winning grin and a diamond-encrusted goat necklace sure to set tongues wagging as she claimed her sixth career gold medal in Paris.

Simone Biles has showed off a diamond-encrusted goat necklace at the 2024 Paris Olympics as she claimed her sixth career gold medal and became the third woman to win two-all round titles.

The 27-year-old American great on Thursday claimed an individual Olympic gold medal, her sixth gold and ninth Olympic medal, becoming America’s most decorated gymnast.

Biles not only flashed a delighted grin but also a shiny silver necklace with a small diamond goat pendant as she stepped up to roaring crowds during the NBC broadcast.

The artistic gymnast’s flashy necklace paid homage to her Greatest Of All Time (GOAT) status which Biles said she loved because the “haters” don’t.

“It’s a little ode,” she said told reporters after the win.

“I mean, a lot of people love it. They always call me the GOAT so I thought it would be really special if I got one made.

“The haters hate it but I like that even more. It’s just a special part of me that I have here.

“In the village I have a stuffed goat. Just to get a reminder like, ‘You can go out there, you can do it. You’ve done it before. So let’s go.’

“But at the end of the day, it is crazy that I’m in the conversation of greatest of all time athletes, because I still think I’m Simone Biles from Spring, Tx. that loves to flip.”

Fans of the US star took to X to congratulate Biles after she finished first in the all-round competition with a score of 59.131.

“Having 6 gold medals and holding a GOAT is COLD,” one person said.

“A symbol of her for what she is… The G.O.A.T! Totally deserves it! Go Simone!” another wrote.

“She’s so talented my only talent is disappointing my parents on the internet,” a third added.

Biles came out on top just 1.199 points ahead her strong competitor and second-place title holder Rebeca Andrane of Brazil.

Her US teammate and 2020 Olympic all-around champion Sunisa Lee took home the bronze medal with a score of 56.465.

Biles and Lee breathtakingly graced the floor with an Olympic flag as Biles’ floor score of 15.066 flashed the screen.

Her floor routine to the rhythm of Taylor Swift’s Ready for it stunned ear-splitting crowds as she landed some of the most difficult tumbling skills in the world, five of which are named after Biles.

The win comes as triumph from the individual gold she missed out on at the Tokyo Games three years ago when she withdrew after suffering the disorientating “twisties”.

A Netflix series shed light on Biles’ depression while enduring the devastating mental block in gymnastics known to cause a confusing disconnect between the brain and body.

Biles under her collarbone has inked the quote “And still I rise…” in reference to the Maya Angelou poem “And Still I Rise”.

There to witness her medalling on Thursday was a treasure trove of A-listers including NBA icon Steph Curry, Kevin Durant, skater Tony Hawk and International Olympics Committee president Thomas Bach, who presented Biles with her medal.

Watching the spectacle was also Romanian gymnastics superstar Nadia Comaneci, another notoriety in the sport, who holds nine Olympic medals.
