Simone Biles Got Botox for Her 27th Birthday, Says She Didn’t Like It
The Olympic Gold-winning gymnast revealed that on her 27th birthday, she got Botox and she didn’t like it. Would you if it raised your eyebrow during practice?
Olympic gymnast Simone Biles loves to win medals. What she doesn’t love, however, is Botox—which she recently revealed that she got on her 27th birthday.
In a Get Ready With Me-style TikTok video filmed before she went on to win the gold medal for the USA in the all-around gymnastic finals, Biles walked her followers through her makeup routine. In the midst of perfecting her look, she opened up about what getting the cosmetic procedure was like.
“So, for my 27th birthday, I got Botox, like, baby Botox, just right here in my T-zone, and I did not like it,” she said. “So I haven’t got it again, and mind you that was back in March.”
Her reason for not liking it is a startling reminder of what the side effects of getting Botox could be. “I would be standing at practice and my eyebrow would just go up…,” she said before explaining that other gymnasts would let her know about it and she couldn’t get it to go back down for up to 20 seconds at a time.
Elsewhere in the video, Biles contemplated whether she’d get a tattoo as an “ode to Paris.”
If Biles does get a new tattoo, it should be gold medals to symbolize her many wins—6 gold medals, to be specific. If we’re talking about World Championships, she’s got 23 gold medals to add to that.
On August 1, Biles continued her Olympic dominance by becoming the oldest all-around Olympic champion since 1952. It was her second Olympic gold medal in the 2024 Paris Olympics after the USA women’s gymnastics team won gold medals in the team finals earlier this week. There are still three more chances for Biles to get gold medals, so there’s still time for her to keep making history.
Biles took to X earlier today (Aug 2) to celebrate winning her second gold medal of the Olympics, using former President Donald Trump’s controversial “Black jobs” comment in a fun way.
She reposted a message congratulating her for the win, saying that she loved her “black job.” LeBron James seized the moment to call her a Black G.O.A.T. using the goat and black heart emojis.
Biles has been dominating in the Olympics since the Rio Summer Olympics in 2016 where she won four gold medals and one bronze. At the Tokyo Olympics, she withdrew from a number of events due to dealing with the “twisties” — but still took home a silver and bronze medal.
