Nick and Priyanka Jonas spotted leaving Australia after Gold Coast visit

Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra Jonas have been spotted leaving Australia after enjoying a low-key Queensland visit.

The Hollywood couple, who married in 2018, spent time on the Gold Coast in recent weeks where Chopra, 42, just wrapped filming her latest movie, Amazon Prime Video’s The Bluff.

Jonas, 31, Chopra and their two-year-old daughter Malti were seen arriving from the Gold Coast at Sydney airport via private jet on Sunday, before boarding an international flight to Los Angeles.

Chopra, who shot to fame in the early 2000s after being crowned Miss India World, has been in Queensland shooting the upcoming swashbuckler drama, which is co-produced by the Russo brothers, since early June, with Jonas twice joining her during production.

Most recently, the pair were spotted having dinner at Gold Coast hotspot Burleigh Pavilion at the weekend.

Capping off her lengthy stay down under, Chopra took to Instagram celebrating The Bluff’s wrap on Sunday, describing Australia as “gorgeous” while sharing a series of intimate photos, including one of her pop star husband enjoying a campfire by the water.

“To be able to work with this remarkable crew in gorgeous @australia with a cast that’s so talented was so much fun!” Chopra wrote.

She continued, “I really lucked out on the locations lottery this year. NICE. GOLD COAST. LONDON. As much as I loved making this movie here I’m sooooo happy to be going home.”

Chopra also celebrated her 42nd birthday here in mid-July.

While Jonas couldn’t be present for that celebration, he ensured his wife felt the love by organising a food truck from local eatery Dosa Hut Mt Gravatt, who served up classic Indian fare on the film’s set at Village Roadshow Studios.

“Thank you to my incredible husband who made his presence felt in such special ways, even though he was not here,” Chopra wrote on social media.

Chopra’s character certainly appears to run into some troubles, if this photo the actress shared is any indication.
In The Bluff, which is yet to have a release date, Chopra plays a former female pirate who “must protect her family when her past catches up to her.”

It’s set in the Caribbean during the 19th century, with the screenplay written by Frank E. Flowers, who also directed the film, and Joe Ballarini.

Marvel star Zoe Saldana was initially booked to play the lead, with Chopra replacing her in January 2024.

Saldana remained on the production as one of the film’s producers.
